Blinds for Sliding Doors

Sliding doors need blinds that open sideways, stack compactly, or mount above the frame without blocking the track. Here are your three options.

Option 1: Vertical Blinds (Most Popular for Sliders)

Vertical blinds slide open sideways, matching how your door moves. The vanes rotate for light control. From R465.

Best for: Standard aluminium sliding doors, stacking doors.

Sliding door size (3000×2100): R3 210

Option 2: Roller Blinds (Clean, Modern)

A single roller blind mounted above the door frame. Rolls up completely when not needed. From R583.

Best for: Single sliding doors where you want a clean look.

Option 3: Duo Roller (Day + Night)

Measuring Sliding Doors

Measure the full width of the opening (not one panel). For vertical blinds, add 100mm to each side so the blind stacks past the glass when open. Full measuring guide.
