Can I put real wood venetian blinds in a bathroom or kitchen?
We advise against it. Steam and damp can warp real timber. For a bathroom or kitchen, choose Plaswood or Aluwood: both give a wood look and handle damp.
What is the difference between 25 mm and 50 mm Venetian slats?
The measurement is the depth of each slat, not its thickness. A 25 mm blind has more, narrower slats; a 50 mm blind has fewer, wider slats. Slat width alone does not establish which blind is stronger. Compare the material, appearance and size supported by the chosen product.
Who should not buy a real wood venetian blind?
Real wood is for dry rooms. For a bathroom, kitchen or a damp coastal room, choose Plaswood or Aluwood for the same wood look.
What if I measure wrong?
Our team checks every order before it is made. If your blind arrives too big, we trim it free; too small, we remake it at a reduced price. Claim within 48 hours of delivery under the Custom Fit Guarantee.
How should I measure the opening for these blinds?
For a recess fit, measure three widths and three drops; give us the smallest width and the longest drop. We deduct 10 mm from the width only (10 mm in total). Do not deduct anything yourself. For a face fix, add 100 mm on each side and 100 mm above and below. No deduction applies. Read the measuring guide before ordering.

How do wooden venetian blinds work?
Turn the tilt wand to angle the slats, from open to closed, for light and privacy. Pull the lift cord to raise the whole blind clear of the glass. A pelmet covers the headrail.
Which wooden venetian finish should I choose?
Choose from 12 finishes: natural stains such as Walnut, Mahogany and Natural, bold stains, and painted whites. Dust with a dry cloth; keep the slats dry.
