Questions about honeycomb blinds
What are honeycomb blinds?
Honeycomb blinds use a cellular fabric structure that traps air at the window. They are a useful option where you want privacy, light control and an insulating layer at the glass.
What is the difference between honeycomb blockout and duotone?
Honeycomb blockout is the better option when strong light reduction is important. Duotone honeycomb is designed for softer daylight with privacy.
Can honeycomb blinds be fitted inside a recess?
Yes, provided the product has enough clear recess depth for its headrail. For a recess fit, measure three widths and three drops; give us the smallest width and the longest drop. We deduct 10 mm from the width only (10 mm in total). Do not deduct anything yourself. Check the product guidance before choosing an inside mount.
How do I order made-to-measure blinds online?
Choose a product, enter your window width and drop in millimetres, select the available options, and use the live calculator for your exact price. Online orders are made to measure and delivered free anywhere in South Africa.
How long do made-to-measure blinds take?
Production takes 5–7 working days, excluding transit times and outside peak seasons. Delivery is then arranged with The Courier Guy at no extra charge.
What happens if I measure incorrectly?
The Custom Fit Guarantee covers a blind that is too big with a free trim. If a blind is too small, a remake is available at a reduced price. Claims must be made within 7 working days of delivery.
