Can a duo roller blind make a bedroom fully dark?
It darkens a bedroom well, but no blind seals a window completely. A thin line of light can show at the edges, depending on how it is fitted. Fitting it over the frame with 100mm overlap each side gives the darkest result.
Who should not buy a duo roller blind?
Want one fabric that slides from view to privacy? Choose a double roller (zebra). Only need darkness? A blockout roller costs less.
What if I measure wrong?
Our team checks every order before it is made. If your blind arrives too big, we trim it free; too small, we remake it at a reduced price. Claim within 48 hours of delivery under the Custom Fit Guarantee.
How should I measure the opening for these blinds?
For a recess fit, measure three widths and three drops; give us the smallest width and the longest drop. We deduct 10 mm from the width only (10 mm in total). Do not deduct anything yourself. For a face fix, add 100 mm on each side and 100 mm above and below. No deduction applies. Read the measuring guide before ordering.

What is a duo roller blind?
- Two roller blinds on one bracket: a sheer for daylight and a blockout for darkness and night privacy.
- Each blind has its own steel chain, so you use the sheer, the blockout or both.
- Also called a tandem or day and night blind. It is not a double roller (zebra), which is one striped fabric.

How do duo roller blinds work?
Two roller tubes share one bracket. You choose which fabric sits in front; most people put the blockout in front. Lower the sheer by day to cut glare and keep the view. Lower the blockout at night to darken the room and stop people seeing in.
Which fabrics can I choose for a duo roller blind?
